Aidan Curtin is the National Hobbies Secretary. Based in Region 1, Aidan has been a member of IPA since 1996. In 2009 at the National Congress in Ennistymon he was elected to his current position. He also serves on both regional and branch committees.

As well as assisting successful IPA clubs such the Motorcycle Club and the Pistol Club, Aidan’s role is ensuring that the interest of all members of the association are facilitated and supported in establishing IPA clubs that may interest them. Clubs currently under consideration are lawn bowls, patch collecting and surfing.

With the Special Grant Aid Package available for new clubs there has never been a better time for getting involved in IPA activities so contact the Hobbies secretary for further details.
